North End Feasts begin.

The first of what become annual festivals is that of the Madonna del Grazie. It is sponsored by former residents of the village of San Sossio Baronia in Italy. Other annual feasts that are subsequently celebrated from the fist Sunday in June until the second Sunday in September include that of that of the Madonna Della Cava, Madonna Del Soccorso (1910*), Madonna di Anzano, St. Agrippina di Mineo (1914), St. Anthony (1919, which becomes the largest), St. Domenic, St. Joseph (1926), St. Jude, St. Lucia, St. Rocco, and St. Rosallia.
